The Whip Solstice has become a winter tradition outmatched only by Christmas and binging Netflix with a freshly delivered pizza. It’s the one time we open in our off-season in hope of bringing a little summer to an otherwise bleak winter. Essential need to know info: Open Wednesday-Sunday. February 1-5.DRIVE-THROUGH AVAILABLE! Go ahead, crank the heat and pretend it’s July. Your brain will thank you.We’ll serve fresh Pineapple all 5 days. The second fresh flavor will be Strawberry-Kiwi Wednesday-Friday and change to Lemon-Berry for Saturday and SundayPre-frozen Pints of EVERYTHING (except Chocolate and Watermelon) available in nearly unlimited quantities. That includes Orange, Banana-Pomegranate, Strawberry-Kiwi, Mango-Peach, Grape, Lemon-Berry, and of course, Pineapple!A BRIEF BACKGROUND
The Whip Solstice started in 2015 as more of a joke than anything. We’re not kidding. For years our customers told us they wished we were open in the winter so we thought, “wouldn’t it be hilarious if we opened in the dead of winter for a few days?” We figured a few of our die-hards would show but we NEVER expected to it would become a thing. Well, 9 years later, the Whip Solstice giving Springfield a brief break from winter! We’ve had a lot of fun seeing our excited customers huddled together by our space heaters and hope it has created at least a few fond memories.
